Around Oval we mostly clean mansion-block flats, new-build apartments and serviced lets. Our cleaners are briefed on concierge desks, parking permits and tight lift schedules before they set off, and they know to give high-rise glazing and compact kitchens that need detailing extra time.
The Lambeth picture: Victorian terraces in Clapham and Brixton, riverside towers at Vauxhall and a busy rental market throughout. In flats we bring machines up by lift or stairs and protect communal areas before we start.

Upholstery Cleaning in Oval, room by room
Fabric check
We read the care code and test an unseen area first, then choose hot-water extraction for robust fabrics or a low-moisture method for delicate ones.
Dry soil removal
Crumbs, pet hair and dust are vacuumed out of seams and cushions before any moisture is used. Our teams working in Oval allow extra time here for high-rise glazing and compact kitchens that need detailing.
Pre-treatment
Body oils on arms and headrests and everyday spills are treated so they release during cleaning.
Cleaning and rinsing
The fabric is cleaned and rinsed to remove residue, which is what makes upholstery feel stiff and attract dirt again.
Drying
Most sofas are dry in a few hours. We leave cushions positioned to dry evenly and advise when the piece can be used. Customers around Vauxhall and Kennington often ask us to make this a priority.

What affects the price in Oval?
Prices for upholstery cleaning in Oval are fixed by the size of the job, so you know the cost before we arrive. The main factors are the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and any extras you add such as carpet cleaning, an oven clean or key collection.
Homes here are mostly mansion-block flats, new-build apartments and serviced lets, so it is worth telling us about features such as high-rise glazing and compact kitchens that need detailing in your booking notes. If a property is much larger or in a very different condition from the description, we will always talk to you before changing anything.

When to book upholstery cleaning in Oval
Carpets, upholstery and ovens are best cleaned before a busy period — ahead of hosting family, before selling or letting, or at the end of a tenancy. In Oval we recommend a professional clean every 12 to 18 months, or more often with pets and children. Choose a day when rooms can be ventilated for a few hours afterwards.
Making the results last
Professional cleaning restores fabrics and appliances, but a few habits keep them looking good for longer. Blot spills straight away rather than rubbing, vacuum high-traffic areas more often, and use door mats to stop grit reaching carpets.
For ovens, a liner on the base tray and wiping spills once the oven has cooled prevents carbon building up. For sofas, rotating cushions and vacuuming weekly spreads wear evenly.
Most homes in Oval benefit from a professional carpet and upholstery clean every 12 to 18 months, or every 6 to 12 months with pets or young children.
