What affects the price in Wandsworth?

Prices for move in cleaning in Wandsworth are fixed by the size of the job, so you know the cost before we arrive. The main factors are the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and any extras you add such as carpet cleaning, an oven clean or key collection.

Homes here are mostly Victorian and Edwardian conversions, maisonettes and purpose-built flats, so it is worth telling us about features such as period skirting, sash windows and original tiled floors in your booking notes. When to book move in cleaning in Wandsworth

Book your move in cleaning for the day before your check-out inspection. That leaves time for any agent feedback to be fixed under our 72-hour guarantee, and means the property is empty so every cupboard and floor can be reached. The end and start of each month are the busiest times in Wandsworth, as most tenancies change over then — booking a week or two ahead secures your preferred date.

Getting your deposit back in Wandsworth

In England your deposit must be protected in a government-approved scheme (DPS, TDS or mydeposits), and any deduction has to be justified against your check-in inventory. Landlords can expect the property back in the same condition, allowing for fair wear and tear — not in better condition than when you moved in.

Under the Tenant Fees Act 2019, a landlord cannot require you to pay for a professional clean as a condition of the tenancy. What they can require is that the property is returned as clean as it was at the start. A professional end of tenancy clean is often the simplest way to meet that standard, and our 72-hour re-clean guarantee means any agent feedback is handled quickly.

Tip: photograph each room after the clean and keep your receipt. If a dispute arises, the deposit scheme's free resolution service will look at this evidence.
