Cleanliness is one of the categories guests rate most harshly. In a competitive London market, a single comment about hair in the shower can hurt bookings for weeks.
Use a written checklist
Every turnover should follow the same checklist, from the order beds are made to how towels are presented. Consistency is what guests notice.
Plan linen properly
Keep at least three sets of linen per bed: one on the bed, one in the wash and one spare.
Ask for photo reports
Photos after every clean let you check the property remotely and give you evidence if a guest reports damage.
Leave time between stays
Set check-out at 10 or 11am and check-in from 3pm so the cleaner has time to do the job properly.
